Thanks to Elkton PTO for sponsoring the Fall Festival today! Elementary had fun with games and prizes in the gym and JH/HS enjoyed a sweet treat after lunch!
2025 Region 2A Volleyball Tournament Bracket. Elkton-LB will play in Watertown against Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday, November 4th at 7pm.
Details for next week's State Semifinal football game have been set. Elkton-Lake Benton will take on Parkston Friday, November 7th in Elkton. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00PM.

Elkton-Lake Benton defeats Hanson this evening by a score of 44-15, advancing to the Final 4 in Class 9AA. The Elks will host the winner of Parkston vs. Bon Homme next Friday in Elkton. #elkpride #runwiththeherd

Today we’re shining the spotlight on one of the newest members of the crew, Mrs. Jaacks! She’s spent 15 years in education in varying capacities, but this is her first in Elkton as the FACS teacher. She wears several other hats, as well, leading the FCCLA program and the brand-new Educators Rising group. Mrs. Jaacks’ dream vacation destination is Hawaii, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton are her jams, and she owns the title of “Miss Rodeo South Dakota 2005.”
When asked which other teacher’s class she’d like to attend for one day, Mrs. Jaacks responded, “Too many to choose from – each grade and subject amaze me in what they do. Elementary teachers with their amazing patience with the littles, the art teacher’s creativity, the sports and music teachers with their enthusiasm, and the core teachers with their structure.”

Another big CONGRATULATIONS goes to Adam Kinner for his showing at Saturday's Cross Country State Meet in Huron! The Freshman clocked a time of 17:54 to finish 49th out of the 129 runners who qualified in Class A. Great job, Adam! #elkpride #runwiththeherd
