If coming to game tonight, the Parker exit may be the best option. Big accident and road construction south of the Parker exit where traffic was moving slowly. Coach Pearson

Mrs. Yackley met with seniors this morning to get a jump start on senior year planning. Seniors were provided with several handouts related to post-secondary planning and shown resources in their Class of 2025 Google Classroom, Mrs. Yackley's website, and the Our Dakota Dreams website. Please encourage your senior to share the handouts and information they received and to sign up for their individual senior advising appointment with Mrs. Yackley to review their plans and determine next steps in their personal planning journey!

Please see the attached form regarding the Brookings Backpack Project which provides meals and snacks to students who apply. Paper copies of the enrollment are going home with students in PK-6. If students in grades 7-12 need a paper copy, one can be picked up in the mail office. These forms should be returned to the school.

Parents/Guardians: The Elkton Public School District will once again be collecting Hy-Vee receipts from the Brookings, SD store only. Our school will receive $1,000 for every $200,000 in receipts that we collect. This money will be used to purchase supplies. We can count all food purchases, pharmacy, and gas. We cannot count alcohol, tobacco, postage items, lottery, or gift cards. As of August 2024 we have collected $55,000. Please send your Hy-Vee receipts with your child to the school. Your child’s teacher will make sure that they get to me. Thank you for your donation. Kristi Brunsting Elkton Public School Paraprofessional
