Day of the Dead was Nov. 2. It is a holiday to celebrate, honor, and remember those who have died. Students in 7-12 Applied Language Development classes made posters of ofrendas (altars) honoring a family member or friend who has died. The hallway by the applied language classroom has all the beautiful ofrendas, so stop by and check out the hard work done by Mrs. Wold's classes if you are in the building!

MONEY SAVING TIP FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE!
Thank you to all of our parents & guardians for working with the school during our transition to Food Service Online Payments. The Business Office wants to provide a money saving tip. By utilizing the e-check payment option by linking your bank account, the transaction fee is .35 per transaction whereas the credit card fee is 4%. For October credit card transactions, the savings for 28 credit card transactions would be $135.36 if they used the e-check payment option instead. Please contact the Business Office if you need assistance setting up online payments. Thank you for your support. Go Elks!

We will have a Financial Aid Info & FAFSA Fill Out Night here at the school on NOVEMBER 7, 2022 @ 6:30 PM. We will start at 6:30 with some general financial aid information that would be beneficial to any high school parents/students (particularly juniors/seniors). Following the presentation, we will have work time for seniors and their parents work on filling out the FAFSA with guidance from Mrs. Yackley and Cathy Mueller from Mapping Your Future.
I encourage all seniors planning to attend college or technical school to complete the FAFSA as it is required to be considered for any federal student aid (grants, loans, work study). Seniors/senior parents---see Google Classroom or K12 email for details about what financial items to bring along to be able to file your FAFSA that evening!
We will host the third round of volleyball regions Thursday (11/3) at 7pm. The Lady Elks will play the Sioux Valley Cossacks. Activity passes are not accepted. The cost of attending the event is $6 for adults and $4 for students. 🏐🤍🦌💙🏐
