Parents/Guardians of students with special needs - check out this incredible opportunity to participate in adaptive soccer in Brookings!
The local soccer club, SoDak Spurs, will be starting an adaptive soccer program for children ages 4 to 10 with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities. This is exciting news for the community because this program will serve an age group that currently does not have many activity options! This program will be based on a national soccer sports program called TOPSoccer. To learn more about this, please feel free to watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0XdC_FxPVY).
The Spurs plan on kick-off this program the weekend of July 14th with a FREE session at the Fishback Soccer Complex. This will be a great opportunity to give it a try and have some familiarity with the program before the fall season starts. To help the soccer club contact you with more details, they are asking for you to complete this form. They have assured us that this information will not be used for anything other than TOPSoccer. Please take a few minutes to provide your information and enable them to be properly prepared to launch this exciting new program in Brookings.

Construction and remodeling is moving forward...and at a faster pace now that students are out of the building.
The Kindergarten through second grade classrooms had cabinetry torn out today. These classrooms will be getting a fresh coat of paint, new cabinetry, and new carpet.
The demo on the locker rooms and high school bathroom continues. You can now enter the girls' bathroom and pass through athletic storage, the boys' locker room, and the girls' locker room.
