The Lady Elks host the Cardinals tonight in another DVC showdown! Games start at 4:00 with the 7th grade matchup, followed by 8th grade, JV, and Varsity. If you can't make it, you can stream the games on Elks Live! #runwiththeherd

INFORMATION FOR SATURDAY'S DVC CLASSIC: On Saturday our boys will participate in the DVC Classic. The boys play at 3pm in White. All games for the Classic will be on Big Sioux Media, but because this is a conference classic, there will be a subscription required to watch the games. To watch the games, please follow the link below. The subscription is $10 to watch all of the day's games. You will need to use a desktop or laptop to sign in, the subscription model does not work with mobile devices. https://bigsiouxmedia.com/2026-dakota-valley-conference-classic/ Everyone is encouraged to purchase right away so that if you have issues, they can be rectified by Saturday. If you wait until Saturday morning and have issues when Big Sioux is already streaming, response time will be much lower and you will miss some of the action.

Due to the weather, Elkton School District will have a 2 hour late start on Friday, January 16th. Classes will begin at 10:30 and breakfast will not be served today.

Cost is $10 and will get you all the games at Deubrook on January 17th.
Colman-Egan will also have the same link for streaming and $10 will get you all the games at Colman if you can't make it out.

Elkton-Lake Benton hosts Arlington tonight in a boys basketball DVC matchup! The Elks and Cardinals will square off in four games, starting with 7th grade at 4:00. Attached is the order form for FCCLA Valentines. Paper copies will be coming home with elementary students this week. There are also paper copies available in the office. All orders are due January 23rd.

The Elks visit the Cardinals tonight in a DVC showdown at St. Mary High School. There will be a full slate of games, with 7th grade beginning at 3:00, followed by 8th grade at 4:00, C at 5:00, JV at 6:15, and the Varsity matchup will cap the evening with a 7:30 tip-off. Good luck Elks!

Elkton-Lake Benton heads to Dell Rapids tonight to take on the St. Mary Cardinals. JH gets the triple-header started at 4:30, followed by JV at 6:00, and Varsity at 7:30. Good luck Lady Elks!

This week's events at Elkton Public School!

Tomorrow (Jan. 11th) there will be two separate sessions for Elkton and Lake Benton students interested in working on baseball pitching skills. The first session is for players who will pitch from 40-54 feet next season (8U-12U), and runs from 5:00-6:00 pm. The second group will take place from 6:30-7:30pm for pitchers eligible to play High School baseball this year (grades 7-12). Students interested in catching are also welcome to attend with their age group. There is no cost. The sessions will be held at the indoor batting cage area next to the GeoDome. The Elks head to Florence tonight to take on the Florence-Henry Eagles in a Boys/Girls basketball double-header. The 7th grade boys will start things off at 3:00, with JV girls and C boys at 4:00, JH girls and JV boys at 5:00, Varsity girls at 6:15, and Varsity boys at 7:45.
