7:30AM – Football team will travel to Lake Benton Elementary to meet students
• Details: Arrival in LB @ 7:40
1:30PM – Pep Rally in South Gym
• Details: All students, parents, fans, and community members invited to attend
Thursday
7:45AM – Senior parents hosting breakfast for football team in Mr. Marsh’s classroom
12:30PM – Secondary lunch ends, football team will gather in the South Gym
12:40PM – Football team hallway walk-through sendoff
12:50-1:00PM – Football team loads bus
• Details: Elkton Fire Trucks will lead out of town
1:00 - School released
1:15PM – Cheer/Stats/Managers bus leaves
4:00PM – Student Fan Bus leaves
• Details: Open to students in grades 7-12, staff supervised
5:00 – Football team arrives at Dakota Dome
• Details: Locker Room D (East side)
6:00PM – Team warm-ups on the field can begin
6:54PM – Introductions

-Fans are NOT allowed on the field following the game
Tickets on-sale starting Monday @ GoYotes.com/Tickets / $15 adults, $10 students
-Suites available for fan rental – If you’re interested call the Coyote Ticket Office
-The game will air on SDPB for those that cannot make the trip
-Some parking has fees at Dakota Dome this year (It’s a USD fee and SDHSAA does not collect any portion)
• Yellow lots $5
• Green lots - Free
• Students can park for free by showing school-issues ID or sharing which HS they are with

Following much consideration of the schedule and events surrounding this Thursday’s State Football Championship, Elkton School District will be closed on Friday, November 14th. A more detailed schedule of this coming week’s activities will be shared and posted on the school’s social media pages and website later today. Parents, fans, and community members: please know that schedule adjustments such as this are made with significant thought - so we thank you for, and appreciate, your patience.
Weekly Events at Elkton Public School!
The Elkton-Lake Benton football team will be playing in the 9AA state championship game next Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in Vermillion. Elkton School District will release at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 13th. The school day on Friday, November 14th will be a late start and begin at 10:30. A Welcome Home celebration for the team will be held following the school day Friday. More details on that will follow later.
Elkton-Lake Benton Elks punch their ticket to the Dakota Dome and the State 9AA Championship game with a hard fought 14-8 victory over the Parkston Trojans. The Elks will take on the Freeman-Marion-Freeman Academy Phoenix at 7pm on Thursday, November 13th.
State Football Championship Ticket Information:
o Tickets for the South Dakota High School Football Championships will go on sale on Saturday, November 8th at 8:00 a.m. on GoYotes.com/Tickets.
Ticket Prices are $15.00 for Adult Seating, $10.00 for student seats located in the designated “student section”. For any other questions, the ticket office will be available for emails at tickets@usd.edu. They will respond to emails as quickly as they can. There will be a service charge of $3.00 for all online orders. Tickets can also be purchased through the ticket office on Monday morning starting at 9:00am by calling 605-677-5959

Thanks to Elkton PTO for sponsoring the Fall Festival today! Elementary had fun with games and prizes in the gym and JH/HS enjoyed a sweet treat after lunch!
2025 Region 2A Volleyball Tournament Bracket. Elkton-LB will play in Watertown against Great Plains Lutheran on Tuesday, November 4th at 7pm.
Details for next week's State Semifinal football game have been set. Elkton-Lake Benton will take on Parkston Friday, November 7th in Elkton. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00PM.
