Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Business Manager of the Elkton School District #5-3. until 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2022 at which time bids will be opened at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Bid will be awarded at the regular meeting of the Board of Education, April 11,2022. for the purchase for the 2022-2023 school term:
Bid Specifications
- Playground Equipment (see attached renderings)
- Provide 1 play structure
- Provide 1 each 3-bay arch swing with 6 belt seats
- Provide 1 each merry-go-round
- Provide 1 each climb and discover cave
- Provide 1 each cozy pod spinner
- Installation of playground equipment
- Install 1 play structure (see attached rendering)
- Install 1 each 3-bay arch swing with 6 belt seats
- Install 1 each merry-go-round
- Install 1 each climb and discover cave
- Install 1 each cozy pod spinner
- Boarders and Matting
- Provide and install 71 each border timbers
- Provide and install 1 each ADA half ramp
- Provide and install geotextile fabric
- Surfacing
- Provide and install approximately 228 cubic yards of engineered wood fiber surfacing
- Fencing
- Provide and install 350’ of 6’ galvanized chain link with 10’ DD gate and 42” single swing gate
Bids must be submitted with a FIRM QUOTE. Bid quotations to be F.O.B., Elkton Public School, Elkton SD.
The Elkton School District #5-3 does not pay Federal Excise Tax, under section 6416 of the Internal Revenue code, applicable to the above items. This tax should not be included in the bid price.
Envelopes containing bids must be sealed and marked in the upper left hand corner with the name and address of the bidder, identification of the bid, and the date and hour of the opening.
The Elkton School District #5-3 Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
PLEASE NOTE: FAXED BIDS ARE UNACCEPTABLE!
