Sergeant Jeremy Gacke with the South Dakota Highway Patrol visited with Algebra 2 students today about how he uses mathematics in crash reconstruction. Many lessons were learned from his years of experience, stories and tips. Thank you, Rylen, for being a great sport in demonstrating reaction times. - Mrs. Rochel

A reminder to juniors...the deadline to sign up for the June ACT test date is May 3rd! Go to act.org/bts to register. The next test dates coming up are July 13 and September 14, so I encourage you to look ahead if you have not selected a test date yet. As a reminder, the ACT is the college entrance exam required by most 4-year colleges/universities and is needed for eligibility for certain scholarships. Contact Mrs. Yackley if you have questions!
